The Cubit is a unit of measurement used in the old testament 6 hand breadths = 1 cubit.
When God gave instruction through Ezekiel on how to rebuild the temple, the basic instruction was everything was to be built using the long cubit 1 long cubit = 7 hand breadths!
6 is the number of mans efforts, the 7 is God’s hand at work.
Everything you put your hand to be sure that you include the 7th element – God, the Holy Spirit!
